What is Made in Northern Ireland?

Made in Northern Ireland was created to celebrate and support the creative people of Northern Ireland who handmake products by helping them to get their brand name heard.

We've created a directory which will help you find what you're after while supporting local people.

If your product has a creative aspect in the making or designing process which takes place in Northern Ireland and you'd like to be added to the makers directory for free then get in touch with us with the following details:

  • Business Logo
  • Business/brand name
  • Short description
  • Social media links (Instagram, Facebook etc)
  • Links to where you sell

There is no cost being on the Makers Directory.

You can submit your business in two ways:

1. Fill in an online form here (requires a Google/Gmail account)

2. Contact us via email hello@madeinnorthernireland.co.uk

If you ever need a gift, present or fancy getting something for yourself, find the links to where the makers sell their products below their logo on the Makers Directory. The most common platforms which people sell on are Etsy, their own website and through direct message on social media.

We want to promote as many makers as we can as that is our primary purpose however, there are a few simple requirements that your product must meet to qualify:

  • Part or all of the product was made in Northern Ireland
  • Part or all of the design process of the product was carried out in Northern Ireland
  • You are not part of an affiliate scheme
  • You sell a product, not a service

If you're unsure if your product meets the requirements, get in contact with us by social media or email.

If you have any further questions, get in contact with us and we'd be more than happy to answer.
